Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation [ACCES-VR]
ACCES-VR is part of the New York State Education Department and administers vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs. ACCES-VR provides services to assist eligible individuals with disabilities to obtain employment. Career / Vocational Training Services
If your Career Exploration identified a training need to better prepare you for employment, we can assist you in locating training providers, determining your eligibility and accessing available funding to support training such as TAP and PELL, other federal grants or placement in an On-The-Job Training (OJT) with a local employer. To determine if your career path and training you want to undertake is relevant to local jobs available in this area, please refer to our area Occupations in Demand list. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) enrollment is required for Training Services. Please contact your One-Stop Center for further information.
