Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany & Steuben Southern Tier Extension Railroad Authority

The authority shall consist of fourteen members.  Upon the recommendation of the Chief Executive, the legislative bodies of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Steuben counties shall each appoint three voting members who shall be residents of such county.  The Southern Tier West Regional Planning and Development Board, upon the recommendation of its Chairperson, shall appoint one member who shall be a resident of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, or Steuben County.  The Seneca Nation of Indians may appoint a member of such Nation to serve in an advisory non-voting capacity.  The term of office shall be for three years.  All members shall continue to hold office until their successor.
