Ghost Stories of New York State After-Hours Tours

Genesee Country Village & Museum 1410 Flint Hill Road, Mumford

Explore eerie folktales of supernatural visits and haunted happenings from across New York State on a guided walking tour through the shadowy corners of the Historic Village. Handed down from generation to generation, these are ghostly stories that persist to the present day – and some are based on historical accounts. Tours depart at 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. in groups of 20. Tours are approximately 75 minutes long. Please be prepared to walk/stand for the tour’s entirety, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Please be advised that some rooms may have dim lighting or tight spaces. A bottle of water will be provided before your tour begins. When you arrive at the Museum, please follow the signs for check-in and proceed through the main admissions tunnel. Your tour will be announced from behind the admissions tunnel!

Tree Care Workshop Allegany County

Considering maintenance is essential for your trees to live a healthy life and be safe for their environment. Trees require proper care in order for them to flourish and at the same time this can prevent diseases, pests and future problems. Join the Tree care workshop to learn how to take care of your trees: how to select the trees before planting, where to get trees, tree requirements and basic maintenance. All participants will receive printed workshops materials. Hosted by CCE Allegany, CCE Wyoming, CCE Erie, and as part of a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Urban Forestry Education Grant. There is no fee to attend, however pre-registration is required at least 5 days prior to the event. Angelica Farmers Market

Shop small and shop local with the whole family at the Angelica Farmers Market, held every Saturday, May – October, on Angelica’s charming Park Circle.  Local vendors offer a large variety of organic produce and home-made products, including fresh, local fruits and vegetables, herbs, maple syrup products, honey, dairy, eggs, cut flowers, and so much more.  Bring the kids and enjoy food vendors, interesting exhibits, and crafts for kids of all ages.
