Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
HEAP is a Federal funded program that allows income eligible households to apply for a one time per year heating benefit to assist with heating costs. HEAP also provides emergency assistance for households in a heat or heat related emergency. Additionally, HEAP assists with furnace repairs and/or replacement for households with inoperable heating equipment.

HEAP Cooling
HEAP cooling opened on May 2, 2016 and closes on August 31, 2016 or sooner if the funds run out. HEAP cooling is for homes that meet HEAP income requirements and someone resides in the home with a chronic medical condition that gets worse in extreme heat. Regular HEAP Benefit
