In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 6.35 million people, and there have been over 190,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 441,154 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,370 deaths statewide.  As of 3:40 p.m. on September 9, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

 

Confirmed Cases:  95

Recovered Cases:  92

COVID-19 Related Deaths:  1

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  1,267

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 1,239

Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  28

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  803

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  737

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  35
