Public Hearing Scheduled Concerning Grant Application for CDBG CARES Act March 23, 2022 at 2 PM

NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing concerning a proposed grant application developed in partnership with the Allegany County Industrial Development Agency (ACIDA) and directed to the New York State Homes and Community Renewal’s Office of Community Renewal (OCR) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for a Coronavirus Aide, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Grant, seeking $1,000,000 in grant funds to provide small business support grants to eligible businesses in Allegany County which have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, shall be held on March 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the County Legislative Chambers, Room 221, County Office Building, 7 Court Street, Belmont, New York 14813, before the Allegany County Board of Legislators.  The New York State OCR CDBG CARES Act Grant funds will support the ACIDA in providing financial assistance to local businesses in Allegany County and help them prevent, prepare for, or respond to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. All parties in interest and citizens will be heard by said Board of Legislators at the public hearing relative to the grant application.
