COVID-19 Statistic Update

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 5.32 million people, and there have been over 168,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 424,901 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,244 deaths statewide.  As of noon on August 15, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

  • Confirmed Cases:  84
  • Recovered Cases:  81
  • COVID-19 Related Deaths:  1
  • Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  1,161
  • Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 1,135
  • Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  26
  • Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  563
  • Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  678
  • Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  31
