COVID-19 Statistic Update

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 1.25 million people, and there have been 73,211 deaths. In New York State, there have been 321,792 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 19,158 deaths statewide with 232 deaths in the last 24 hours.  As of 1:30 p.m. on May 6, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

  • Confirmed Cases:  34
  • Recovered Cases:  31
  • COVID-19 Related Deaths:  1
  • Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  493
  • Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 469
  • Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  24
