In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 2.19 million people, and there have been over 119,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 385,142 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 24,629 deaths statewide.  As of 3:00 p.m. on June 17, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases:  59

Recovered Cases:  54

COVID-19 Related Deaths:  1

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  792

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 727.

Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  65

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  311

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  14
